HEIDENHAIN at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2011

At the SPS/IPC/DRIVES in Nuremberg from November 22 to 24, 2011, HEIDENHAIN will present comprehensive solutions with motor feedback solutions both for rotary as well as for linear motors for a wide variety of applications.

With the ECN / EQN 1100 series, HEIDENHAIN is presenting rotary encoders with fault exclusion for their mechanical connection. The EQN 1135 absolute multiturn encoder with optical scanning and EnDat interface features total resolution of 35 bits (23 bits singleturn, 12 bits multiturn) and a system accuracy of ± 60“. Uniform mating dimensions for the motor flange are available for modern servo motors with a mechanical design prepared for the future. The flange enables manufacturers to mount rotary encoders with optical and inductive scanning.

In the linear encoder product range, HEIDENHAIN is presenting the LC 200 sealed absolute linear encoder which, with a measuring length of up to 28 m and a system accuracy of ± 5 µm, sets new standards in the truest sense of the word.

The RCN series angle encoders with integral bearings were revised to improve the performance of these units with optimized scanning and new evaluation electronics together with larger mounting tolerances.
